How to join in:
• DJs- Fill out the application sheet when it goes live. Usually this happens a few months before the next event. We will make an announcement on our social media accounts about it. You MUST be in the discord to accept the rules, receive a DJ tag and get access to the application sheet. For additional info, see out 'Selection Process' page.• Volunteers- photographers, promoters, hype squad, graphics team and more! Have a passion and want to help out? Reach out to a member of the planning team on discord and we can get you set up!• Party People- Show up to the festival location and get ready to go wild for 50 non-stop hours!

What is Eorzea Dream Festival (EDF)?
► EDF is a community driven event within the game Final Fantasy XIV that utilizes in game locations in conjunction with Twitch. It was started in 2021 by a group of DJs on the Crystal Data Center that wanted to put on their own big musical festival for everyone to enjoy, regardless of their demographic.► EDF is where everyone who attends can find something they enjoy and feel connected to. Music moves the heart and illuminates the soul!► EDF is not affiliated with Square Enix or with any venue or club found within Final Fantasy XIV. It is its own event. For the people, By the people.

How to DC Travel
1- Right click on character name
2 -Select "Visit Another Data Center"
3- Select "Materia" as the Data Center, and then "Ravana" as the World and then Confirm!
4- Read the warning and hit "Confirm" again
5- WAIT LIKE A POTATO
6- The window will pop up on your screen stating that "Blank has arrived on Ravana!" select "Ok"
7- Log in and come join us at EDF!!

DJ Selection Process
EDF has grown in popularity over the years from less than 20 applicants at the start to over 100 applicants now. With only 50 available DJ slots, we have created a special method for selecting our next performers.
How it works
DJ's submit an application to EDF within the allotted window set by EDF staff.
The EDF Scheduler uses a numerical-based system. A numerical-value is assigned to a DJ when A] it's their first time applying to EDF or B] when returning DJ's apply to EDF but aren't selected to perform.
There is a database where a DJ's numerical-value is tracked for future EDFs. This allows DJ's to carry over their numerical-values assigned to them if they aren't selected to perform.
Numerical Values Explained
1.5 - Applying to three EDF's. This is the max numerical-value a DJ can earn. A DJ with 1.5 must be placed within the current EDF.
1 - Applying to two EDF's.
0.5 - Applying to one EDF. Special Note: First time DJ's applying to EDF will be assigned this numerical-value.
0 - The DJ performed in the previous EDF.
These numerical-values will be reset to zero once the DJ performs within EDF.
DJ's that are asked to fill a spot during an ACTIVE EDF will not have their numerical-values reset.
